What does your roof need?
Most roofing jobs are one of these four. We'll tell you honestly which one yours is.

Re-roof
When patching no longer pays. We strip back to the rafters, then lay new membrane, battens and slates or tiles.
Good for: Old, patched roofs - Front view02
Flat roof
Garages, dormers and extensions. A new insulated deck under a rubber (EPDM) or fibreglass (GRP) finish.
Good for: Garages, extensions - Front view03
Roof repair
Slipped slates, a cracked ridge or a leaking flashing. Fixed properly, not just covered up.
Good for: Leaks, storm damage - Front view04
New roofline
Rotten fascias and sagging gutters replaced in low-maintenance uPVC, so water goes where it should.
Good for: Rot, overflowing gutters

Cracked or loose ridge
- What you'll notice
- Gaps along the top line, or bits of mortar in the gutter.
- What we'd do
- Re-bed or dry-fix the ridge so wind can't lift it.
Slipped or missing slates
- What you'll notice
- A lighter patch, or one slate sitting lower than the rest.
- What we'd do
- Replace and fix the slates, and check the battens behind.
Leaking chimney flashing
- What you'll notice
- Damp on the ceiling or the chimney breast after rain.
- What we'd do
- New lead flashing, dressed and sealed into the brickwork.
Moss build-up
- What you'll notice
- Thick green moss, with water spilling over in one spot.
- What we'd do
- Clear it, then check the slates underneath aren't damaged.
Overflowing gutters
- What you'll notice
- Water pouring over the edge and stains down the wall.
- What we'd do
- Clear, realign or replace the gutters and downpipes.
Rotten fascias and soffits
- What you'll notice
- Flaking paint, or soft, sagging boards under the gutter.
- What we'd do
- Replace them in low-maintenance uPVC while the scaffold is up.
Every layer, done right. What's under the slates matters as much as what you can see.

What changes the price of a roof?
Each roof is priced after an inspection. The main factors:
- 01The size and shape of the roof, and how many slopes
- 02Slate or tile, natural or man-made
- 03Scaffold access and how high the roof is
- 04Chimneys, valleys, dormers and rooflights to work around
You get the price in writing before the scaffold goes up.

What people ask us before the scaffold goes up.
Still not sure?
Talk to our team. We'll tell you honestly what's possible and what it will cost.
Ask a questionMost houses take around one to two weeks once the scaffold is up, depending on size and weather. Many repairs are done in a day.
Often, yes. If the timbers and most slates are sound, a repair is better value. We'll show you photos and tell you straight which makes sense.
If more than a quarter of the roof is being replaced, yes. We handle the notification and the sign-off for you.
We only strip what we can cover the same day, and the roof is sheeted over every night.
Yes. Every new roof comes with a written guarantee, and we explain exactly what it covers.
